FOR PROFESSIONALS

Become a TSGA-designated Turner syndrome clinic.

TSGA designation recognizes clinics that meet the six-point standard of multidisciplinary Turner syndrome care. Designation signals to patients, families, and referring providers that your clinic is equipped to provide comprehensive, evidence-based TS management across the lifespan.

The six-point standard

To earn TSGA designation, a clinic must demonstrate capability in each of the following six areas of Turner syndrome care. Applications are reviewed by the TSGA Clinical Advisory Council.

01

Multidisciplinary Care Team

The clinic must have access to a multidisciplinary team including endocrinology, cardiology, and gynecology — either within the clinic or through established referral pathways.

02

Adherence to Care Guidelines

Clinical practice must align with the current International Turner Syndrome Care Guidelines, including recommended screening intervals for cardiac, renal, hearing, and metabolic health.

03

Lifespan Coverage

The clinic must serve patients across the lifespan — from pediatric diagnosis through adult transition — or have a formal transition protocol connecting patients to adult care providers.

04

Patient & Family Education

The clinic must provide structured patient and family education at diagnosis and key life transitions, including resources on growth, puberty, fertility, cardiac monitoring, and psychosocial support.

05

Research Participation

The clinic must actively offer patients the opportunity to enroll in the InsighTS Registry and other TSGA-affiliated research initiatives, contributing to the longitudinal evidence base for TS care.

06

Collaboration and Designation Renewal

TSGA designated clinics have the opportunity to share resources and best practices. Designation is reviewed for renewal periodically.
